Marco Amici
Lead PM² Trainer & Senior Advisor
Dr. Marco Amici is a certified trainer and senior EU Project Manager with over 20 years of experience in project management and EU funds. He has coordinated and managed projects under major EU programmes including Erasmus+, Horizon, Interreg, Digital Europe and Cohesion Policy.
Marco teaches in several Italian and European institutions such as the University of Rome Tor Vergata, the National School of Administration (SNA), and the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA). He is a certified trainer for PM², PRINCE2®, ISIPM eU-maps®, and has collaborated with organizations such as KPMG, Intellera Consulting, and Adecco Group on the design, management, and evaluation of EU-funded initiatives. His research focuses on public management, performance systems, and the integration of project and programme methodologies in public sector governance.
He is the coordinator of the EUPM² Guide for Managing EU-Funded Projects and co-author of Performance Management in International Organizations (Palgrave, 2020) and the Guide on Design and Management of EU-Funded Projects (Franco Angeli, 2020).
He holds a PhD in Public Governance and Management and two Master’s degrees — one in European Political and Administrative Studies from the College of Europe (Bruges) and another in Innovation and Management of Public Administration from the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
